Patrik Nilsson, President of Aston Martin, Asia Pacific, said: “I am delighted to reveal the brand new Aston Martin Auckland showroom to our New Zealand customers. Situated in a new nine-level, 5,900 square metre Giltrap Group headquarters, Aston Martin Auckland offers the floor space to showcase up to 15 vehicles alongside a contemporary service centre, modern delivery suite and two luxurious customer lounges. The new multi-million dollar showroom on Great North Road displays the entire Aston Martin range over two floors, along with a collection of pre-owned Aston Martin vehicles. The new facility is New Zealand’s largest and most prestigious combined automotive showroom and office development, which is the first building of its type to target a 5-star Greenstar Design rating.
Michael Giltrap, Joint Managing Director, Aston Martin Auckland, said: “New Zealand and the Giltrap Group have a special relationship with Aston Martin, so it is fantastic to see these stunning cars in a location to match.”
The highly collectible V8 Vantage Red Bull Racing Special Edition has been created by the marque’s in-house personalisation service; Q by Aston Martin. Celebrating the two brands’ unique ‘Innovation Partnership’, the special edition model takes approval from Red Bull Racing drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen, with their signatures adorning both sill and inspection plaques.
Available with Aston Martin’s characterful V8 naturally aspirated power units, and also available in a V12 variant, both Vantage Red Bull Racing Special Editions are equipped with a range of distinguishing features for the most devoted Formula 1® enthusiast.
Building on the appeal of the sports-focused Vantage range, the models deliver a blend of eye-catching looks and an engaging and visceral experience for the perfect cruise.
Taking inspiration from Red Bull Racing’s distinctive race livery, owners will be treated to a deep Mariana Blue paint finish as standard. For those seeking a slight twist, gloss Tungsten Silver or satin Mariana Blue exteriors are also optional.
Complementing Aston Martin’s signature paint finish is a race-inspired carbon fibre splitter, diffuser, grille and side strakes. Red infills on the carbon fibre grille and yellow calipers complete the iconic colour scheme.
Inside, customers can expect further sporting features, including Red Bull Racing headrest embroidery, carbon fibre trim inlays and a full-leather steering wheel complete with 12 o’clock accent stripe.
Greg Brinck, General Manager, Aston Martin Auckland said: “We are delighted to welcome the Vantage Red Bull Racing Special Edition to our new standalone, multi-level Aston Martin facility alongside the entire Aston Martin range. We are already experiencing solid interest in this highly limited edition.”
