Festival of Speed 2016 saw another incredible three days of motoring at the world-famous Goodwood Hillclimb.

"We do it for the love of cars."

Those were the words of Aston Martin President and CEO Dr Andy Palmer when asked to sum up the brand's presence at another fantastic celebration of cars and motoring.

Aston Martin has a strong recent history with the Festival of Speed, and the 2016 event once again proved the perfect setting for some milestone #astonmartinfos moments. The hotly-anticipated global dynamic debut of DB11 took centre-stage on the opening day, alongside the unveiling of a bespoke Q by Aston Martin Vantage GT12 Roadster on the Michelin Stage.

Not to be upstaged, a year after a roaring UK debut, the extreme Aston Martin Vulcan returned for a second successive year to the appreciation of the Goodwood crowd. A memorable weekend for our 800bhp supercar was crowned on Sunday evening as it received the Michelin Tyres award for "Showstopper of the Festival" - selected by a panel of judges following a public vote.
